How would you like dozens of sales people for your company without paying a penny in commission or a salary?
BNI is a membership group dedicated to helping companies to get more business from word-of-mouth marketing.
Have a look around this site to see how businesses in Croydon are getting new contracts by meeting for breakfast once a week.
What is BNI?
Business Network International (BNI) Croydon is a group of local businesses that help each other to generate new business. We do this through swapping hot leads, or referrals.
BNI is the largest and most successful referral organisation in the world. BNI Croydon is proud to be one of the largest, most successful and longest-running in the UK.
How does it work?
Every Wednesday morning all the members meet before the working day for a relaxed breakfast (full English is on offer but cereal and toast is also available) and to conduct a structured meeting.
The meeting lasts about 1 1/2 hours and is geared towards passing referrals and learning about each other's business.
The membership fee entitles you to join the group and to attend any other UK BNI meeting as well as national functions. You receive regular literature and there are booklets and seminars that help you to generate more business for yourself and more business for your members. BNI functions on the principle that "givers gain". In other words, if you give me more business I am more likely to give you business. It is how it works in local business anyway but BNI harnesses it in a structured way.
There is no obligation to get business for other members but it is human nature that I will want to find you new customers if you have already found me some. BNI only allows one business from any one category to join a group. That means that you can be certain that no-one in the group competes with you. In fact most groups have members that are in allied trades - such as estate agents and mortgage brokers.
